The Sapling Company Introduces a New Frequency Option to Their Wireless System for International Use
HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA – October 9, 2013 – The Sapling Company, a leading synchronized clock system manufacturer, is proud to announce a new optional frequency range for use internationally. Within the United States, the FCC has deemed certain frequency ranges as open for common use. Internationally, the open frequency range can differ from the US, and Sapling’s new frequency range helps to ensure thorough wireless signal coverage, regardless of which country it is installed in.
Sapling’s standard Wireless Clock System operates on the 915-928 MHz frequency, which is an open frequency in the United States and does not require the purchase of a FCC license, saving money throughout the life of the system. The new optional frequency range operates on the 2.4 GHz frequency band and does not require extra government licensing internationally. While the 2.4 GHz frequency is sometimes thought of as a WiFi frequency band, the system does not require any type of WiFi system infrastructure, it operates over radio frequency. Sapling’s frequency hopping technology allows each clock to frequency hop the transmission to all of the surrounding secondary clocks, enabling it to receive the correct time, even if there is interference on any of the frequencies.
“We are very excited to be able to offer our international customers a wireless system that functions on the 2.4GHz frequency band,” said Oren Ben, Sapling’s International Marketing Analyst. “The 2.4GHz band is considered an open band internationally and will offer more flexibility in use in the international market.”
Sapling’s Wireless Clock System eliminates the need to modify the infrastructure of a building to install expensive wiring. The Wireless System starts with a master clock sending accurate time to the secondary clocks, which then act as repeaters and send out the signal out to other secondary clocks that are within range. This system is highly efficient in achieving accurate, synchronized time throughout a facility.
The wireless clock system from Sapling is also easily controlled from a web-based, user-friendly interface. This interface makes it simple for a user to manage the clock system’s settings as desired. The Sapling Company strives to be an innovator in synchronized clock system technology, and the ability to offer a new frequency range for international use strengthens an already full offering of synchronized clock systems, available for use around the globe.
