THE SAPLING COMPANY, INC. INTRODUCES THE CONFIGURATION STATION FOR BUILDING A SYNCHRONIZED CLOCK SYSTEM

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA – June 15, 2011 – The Sapling Company continues its wave of new releases with the Configuration Station. The Configuration Station is a step-by-step process of building a Sapling synchronized clock system which outputs a variety of useful information relating to the selected clock system.

The Configuration Station will take a user through the clock system building process, showcasing available options as they create the system. The beginning of the process lets the user select what type of category they fall into such as a dealer, architect/engineer or an end user. Then, the user selects the information they would like to obtain at the completion of the Configuration Station including specification sheets, installation manuals, engineering specifications and a bill of materials that can be submitted to Sapling for current pricing. The Configuration Station automatically displays the clocks that are available for the system selected, eliminating the possibility of any ordering mistakes.

In the Configuration Station, the engine behind the interface is quite robust and has some very useful features. When selecting the option for receiving an engineering specification, the Configuration Station places the selected products dynamically into the document, making it very simple to use for submittals. Also included is the ability to select various dial and hand options and preview it before selecting the option. At the end of the process, the user will receive an e-mail with the link to download their materials.

“Sapling is very proud to announce the release of the Configuration Station,” said Ilan Shemesh, President of The Sapling Company, Inc. “We wanted to simplify the specifying and buying experience for everyone with a tool that would let the user pick their clock system without having to worry about part numbers or which clock works with what system. The Configuration Station makes all of this extremely simple and effortless.”

The Configuration Station provides PDFs of installation manuals and specification sheets, while offering a Microsoft Word version of the engineering specification and the bill of materials. All of this is packaged in a downloadable ZIP file at the end of the process. The user can also edit their selection at any time in case of changes.
