Every month here at The Sapling Company, we shine the spotlight on one of our own. This month we will be looking at one of our new regional sales managers, David Steinbrink. David has only been with the company for a little over a month, but his experience in sales and sociable personality has proven to be quite the asset.

David has graciously agreed to answer a few questions about himself, so without any further delay, I present, David Steinbrink:

1.) What do you like best about working at the Sapling Company?

I enjoy the people at Sapling. Everyone has an interest in seeing the company do well and everyone seems to really like what they do. Of course our technology and products are the best on the market, so I enjoy showing people and educating them about our technology and products.

2.) How long have you been working at Sapling, and how did you come into your position?

I have only been at Sapling since August. I saw that Sapling was looking for a Regional manager so I sent them my resume and called about the position. Two weeks later, I was hired.

3.) What are your job duties at Sapling?

I am responsible for all sales and business development efforts in Florida, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, and Oklahoma. I work closely with our dealers as well as with engineering firms, architects, hospitals, school districts and other end-users of our products. I am responsible for getting our products specified in new projects and of course, the overall sales in these states.

4.) What has been your proudest career/life moment?

The birth of my daughters.

5.) What do you enjoy participating in outside of the office?

For the past 25 years I have been racing Formula racecars. I teach high performance driving and am also a principal in a racing school. I enjoy golf and tennis, travel, and enjoy spending time with my family.

6.) Give us a unique fact about you.

I once caddied for Johnny Miller on the PGA tour.

7.) What is the best advice that you have ever received?

Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.
