Sapling is now offering the opportunity to join our rapidly growing company. We currently have a position opened in our technical support department and will be accepting resumes for an experienced Technician (3-5 years experience for the experienced position).

Position Summary:

• Will be responsible for incoming product repairs of our clock systems
• Will be responsible for incoming technical support phone calls as well as answering technical support emails on our clock system
• Will be responsible for travel to customer sites when necessary (approximately 5% travel)
• Will assist production with technical issues and troubleshooting
• May operate drills, or other machine tools, in order to fabricate or modify parts, PCBs, and chassis
• Will assist the Sales team in helping customers on a technical level
• Will be responsible for answering internal technical questions from coworkers
• Knowledge of computer systems/IT a plus
• 3-5 years experience preferred

Job Requirements:

• Must be familiar with building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and modifying electronic products
• Must have excellent troubleshooting skills
• Must have excellent communication skills and must be comfortable on the phone
• Must be familiar with test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, and multimeters
• Must be able to solder SMT and TH
• Must be a quick learner who can master our product line quickly
• Must have excellent time management skills and be highly organized
• Must be good at multitasking
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be willing to travel maybe 5% of the time
